Commodore's Crafted Boats is a traditional wooden boat building, repair and restoration company in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We specialize in traditional wooden boat construction, Classic working Vessels and traditional tugboats. As well we custom build Fraser River Jet Boats, or River Boats from aluminum and have a variety of these for sale. We have a fully equipped aluminum and steel fabrication shop for new builds or any type of repair.

Using modern epoxy bedding, seam compounds, U.V. protected oils and paints they are able keep the traditional wooden boat construction problems of fresh water ingress and sun damage to a minimum. Commodore's Crafted Boats is also able to recognize these problems in their traditional wood marine surveying part of the business and can make recommendations and come up with reasonable cost analysis for Management Companies, prospective buyers, owner's, shipyards and yacht brokers.

With their traditional wooden boat construction knowledge comes a full repertoire of Classic working Vessels, traditional tugboats, traditional designs, traditional west coast fishing vessels, traditional yachts, traditional east coast fishing schooners, topsail schooners, brigs and brigantines, and traditional mahogany speedboats. Commodore's Crafted Boats can create a boat from existing lines or your own design.

Commodore's Crafted Boats is fully insured with general liability, ship repairers liability and is in good standing with Worksafe BC. We run a crew of 15 to 20 trades people and can tackle minor repairs, major restorations or build a new classic working vessel from 15 to 150 ft.
